- What NADIT CAPSULES capsules are and what they are used for
NADIT CAPSULES are used for the relief of cold and cough symptoms. The paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic which helps to relieve pain and fever and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, a decongestant which unblocks stuffy noses. guaifenesinwhich is an expectorant tohelp loosen phlegm.
- Before you take NADIT CAPSULES
This medicine is used is suitable for most adults and children aged over 12 years.
Do not use this medicine:
- If you have very high blood pressure or severe heart disease.
- If you have ever had a bad reaction to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine or guaifenesin.
- If you are taking any other product containing paracetamol or decongestants.
- If you are taking in or have taken in the last two weeks, drugs for depression known as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs).
- If you are pregnant or breatfeeding.
If any of these apply to you, get advice from your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
Talk to your docyor or pharmacist:
- If you have liver or kidney problems.
- If you have heart diseases or mild to moderate blood pressure.
- If you have diabetes.
- If you have an overactive thyroid gland
- If you have glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye)
- If you have prostate problems
- If you are taking alcohol
- If you are taking any other medicines including:
- anticholinergic drugs
- tricyclic antidepressants
- barbiturates
- antidepressant
- sympathomimetic drugs
- antihypertensives
- colestyramines
- metoclopramide
- anticoagulants
- anticonvilsants
- oral contraceptives
If you are not sure of any of the medicines you are taking, show the bottle or pack to your pharmacist. If you are not sure of these bullet points, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
- How to take NADIT CAPSULES
Children under 12 years: This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years.
Adults and Children over 12 years: Two capsule 2 times daily or as recommended by the doctor or pharmacist.
Do not take more than the stated dose.
If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you forget to take the medicine, you should only take as required following the dosage instructions. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed liver damage.
- POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
If you experience any of the following, stop using the medicine and seek immediate help by talking to your doctor or pharmacist.:
- Allergic reactions including skin rashes and itching
- Hallucinations
- Blood disorders which is rare
- Trouble passing urine especially those with prostate problems
Other possible side effects which may occur include;
- Difficulty in sleepimg
- Dry mouth, nose and throat
- Upset stomach
- HOW TO STROE NADIT CAPSULES
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 30°C in a dry place.
Store in the original package.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required.
These measures will help to protect the environment.

- Excipients: The excipients are magnesium stearate, lactose, maize starch, purified talc, sodium benzoate, povidone, aerosol, methyl paraben, propyl paraben.
