CIPRO- P TABLET
01 Overview
Cipro-P(Ciproflaxacin Tablets) is an antibiotic in a group of drugs called fluroquinolines. It is used to fight bacteria in the body. Ciproflaxacin is used to treat different types of bacterial infections. It may be used to prevent or slow anthrax after exposure.
02 Details
Each film coated tablet contains Ciprofloxacin Hydrocloride USP
equivalent to Ciproflaxacin 500mg.
INDICATION
Ciproflaxacin is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms. Basically, it is used for :
- Typhoid Fever
- Urinary Tract Infection
- Bascillus antracis
- Inhalation antracis
- Bronchitis
- Pneumonia
- Joint Infection and soft bone tissues
- Gynaecological and wound infections
- Respiratory Infections
- Tuberclosis
- Meningitis
DOSAGE AND USE
Adult: 250-500mg bid for gynaecological infections, skin and soft tissue
For bone and joint infections, take 500-750mg bid
Take Ciproflaxacin exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts for longer than the recommended periods. Follow all directions on the prescription label. Take Ciproflaxacin with a full glass of water.
