The Pharmacovigilance department of Pokupharma Ltd. Is mandated under the Public Health
Act, 2012 Act 851 Part 7, to carry out the following core functions;
- To monitor the safety of the products of Pokupharma Ltd. Granted Marketing approval.
- To report all adverse effects or events concerned with Pokupharma’s marketed products
to the appropriate Authority.
The fundamental objective of this operational mandate is to promote safe and effective use of our marketed products and prevent harm from adverse reactions associated with the use of our products within or outside the terms of Marketing Authorisation. Our activities, thus, contribute to the protection of patients’ and public health, because at the heart of Pharmacovigilance is the PATIENT.
